Train think ...
Reflection at the end of the school educational workshop, a month after the disappearance of Santiago Maldonado in Argentina.
If you want to do something "good" no choice but to train him, do usual, daily, do practice, perfeccionarlo. We have the habit to train our body, (I will not get into question the training techniques because there are very good but also very harmful and inorganic), either for aesthetic reasons, of health, O well, because it is our working tool (as in the case of sport, Dance, the, in my case too, play a musical instrument, etc). Body expression, the art of being yourself
To talk about the importance of the inclusion of Corporal Expression Dance in the training areas at any level, we must first talk about the art and its place within educational institutions today. So I can refer to the value of art in shaping life and the same story of a human being. As it is known, art is a purely human form of transcendence. Man always seeking ways of communication and permanence, always trying to be in some way permeated through his works. Continue reading

Note of intent
The following is a note of intent written by Victoria D'HERS, who applied for the open call for artists 2017. Once we called Victoria, we asked if we allowed to publish its notice of intent as it seemed to us very interesting place from which we intended to work and why to locate in that place. Victoria agreed that we do and asked us to add different artists and groups of artists with whom he worked and experienced the creative process which we spoke and which was based note.
Note of intent:
In group I settle for work from the Improvisation / Composition real time. We asked for the ability to compose and operate, decided and implemented at the same time.
How to work and found, What state must be generated to promote this meeting within the language of improvisation. And how to feed what happens. Continue reading

The day I fell Jazz
I tend to be categorical and remember exactly one day of my 19 años, when I first saw them live piano quartet, battery, bass and saxophone. They were of Buenos Aires and was in the theater of the small town where I live off. Since that time I did not stop anymore, investigate, listen and read everything I could find on this genre (remember that very early 2000 We did not use internet in the way we do today, searches were handmade and hand, read what appeared in the newspaper supplement art, paid and recorded discs peer; He had its great charm) and it was love at first sight. From that day, my link with this music was in crescendo. I bought my first jazz album, the chosen one: John Coltrane and his Blue train, a classic super. Trumpeter Pedro Casís, director of the Santa Fe Jazz Ensemble- I once said that Coltrane was not the easiest to start and that a more traditional ear might find a mess.

It is just that ... MOVEMENT
Some time ago my friends Creativity in motion asked me to write an article on dance. It is obvious that the topic is very broad, I wandered around thinking until I decided to write about my relationship with her. I will not talk about history, choreographers, styles, etc. (For that there are a lot of very interesting authors recommend that later if they want them). Continue reading
Approaches to Film Music: hear, study, analyze and compose *.
Creativity in motion:
When in the first instance it strikes us think film music in the sound, how it interacts with the image, how it is composed, how recording, how and where they study, what styles and significant composers existed and / or there are, what literature there is on this subject, etc. All these questions arise when something interests us, and even more when it has to do with perception, composition, interpretation and analysis. Then, the idea of this text is to unleash some of these concerns and questions that we would do when approaching film music. Continue reading

Where improvised music emerges?
Blog for Creativity in Motion
Throwing me a little from certain things noted in the speech of Luis Conde lately on this page, besides commenting from a place as far as Brooklyn, I want to first consider this anachronistic condition of improvised music. I think just as well qualify, for his being-in-the-moment, its perpetual existence in the present, and yet, as indicated Luis, the past of this music-history of perpetual present, a present that never repeats itself exactly but constantly multiplied with infinite variations-is abundant. Differences between the living and the recording studio
A little changed my criteria. I listened to the albums before, I liked hearing things that had like a live thing color. I love, in fact most things I hear when I get to listen to music, to check things or youtube, are things live. Continue reading
